McLaren unleashes the 675LT
With a devilish 666bhp on tap, aggressive styling and a set-up that's as track-focused as possible while remaining road-legal, the McLaren 675LT could well be the quintessential supercar. McLaren Automotive has only been in business for four years yet in that time it has managed to go from a standstill to being neck and neck with the best that Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche have to offer. The car's 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 produces 675PS (hence its name) or 666bph and that power enables the almost completely carbon-fiber car to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 2.9 seconds and onto a top speed of 205mph (330km/h). To put those figures into perspective, Ferrari's latest V8 supercar, the 488GTB, which will also be making its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March, offers 660bhp, a top speed of 208mph (334kph) and a 0-100km/h dash time of 3.0 seconds.
